Good Times Ahead in these Last Weeks of Spring

“The beautiful spring came; and when nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also.”

-Harriet Ann Jacobs

There are only a few more weeks of spring. With the joys of summer approaching, it is easy to skip over these last weeks and jump to the good times ahead. But there is still time to get done all of the items on the Spring to-do list. Tackle the spring-cleaning projects. Plant flowers. Change out the front door wreath. Eat plenty of fresh strawberries.

Coming up next week on the blog, you will have a chance to win a colorful Corkcicle tumbler and learn a recipe for peanut butter cookie dough cheesecake. Don’t forget, this weekend is Til The Cows Come Home. You can also visit The Downtown Green Market Saturday morning. Happy Mothers Day!

The season starts slowly, with a few buds, a hand full of crocuses popping up from the soil, but it ends in a full blown symphony of flowers, cherry blossoms, apple trees, and, the queen of them all, magnolias”
