There have been so many lovely Fourth of July projects this year. I have a few framed chalkboards that I enjoy updating for each season and holiday. This chalkboard is a favorite I came across and used for inspiration. If you are still needing some crafting ideas, be sure to visit here to find some free online tutorials to try. You will also want to schedule some time to make this star spangled cherry pie. And if you are still scrambling for a last minute menu, this seafood boil is a memorable option that is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
These pillows pictured were a weekend project for my mom, Tea Time Grammie. My favorite pillow is her calico American flag with mother of pearl buttons. Quilting is my latest endeavor and there is nothing more enlivening than heaps of lovely fabrics. My mom is a collector of fabrics and makes such charming gifts and seasonal décor.
While taking a Sunday drive, we came upon this beautiful farm below with a red barn and stables. It could be on a postcard to beckon people to come visit. There is nothing more relaxing than a country drive in the summer sunshine to admire farmlands and the many barns and silos.
