Meet Amy of Amy Rodger’s Jewelry

Amy Rodgers Quartz and gold Statement Necklace

Every day I put on an Amy Rodgers necklace, one of her leather wrap bracelets, and a hand stamped brass cross bracelet with pearls. I met Amy at Harvest Festival and have been collecting her hand stamped pieces over the past year.  The necklace above is my favorite, a present from John. Handcrafted and hand stamped jewelry has so much character! I absolutely love being able to wear jewelry that is an original piece.

Read more below to find out what inspires Amy’s designs, which of her pieces of jewelry she is currently wearing, and what barn sales she will be visiting this fall.

You are a favorite jewelry designer of mine and I love how you are constantly coming up with new ideas. Where do you find inspiration for your designs?

I find my inspiration in just every day life! To me, we live in a world of design! Music, film, nature, beautiful magazines and websites, and sometimes inspiration just comes from unconventional places.

How long have you been making jewelry? How did you discover your love for jewelry making?

I began my jewelry journey in 2008 when I was simply trying to repair some of my own store bought jewelry.

I started out bead stringing and my line has just evolved over the years! I have found jewelry design to be therapeutic and humbling.

I wear your antique bronze pendant necklaces and bracelets almost daily. They seem to look great with everything! Do you have any pieces of jewelry that are your favorites? Are there pieces you gravitate towards the most?

Currently I am in love with my natural stone pieces! I love quartz and jasper stones! I almost always am wearing my essential oil pieces as well!

Your business is growing by leaps and bounds. What are your future plans for your business?

Currently I have my line in six boutiques in Tennessee and they are keeping me hard at work along with festivals and barn sales! I never intended my jewelry designing to be more than a hobby, but it just goes to show sometimes our plans are not HIS plans! I am so blessed to have this awesome career and I am thankful to each person who buys a piece of my jewelry because it buys me a little more time to do what I LOVE!

I know your jewelry is available on Facebook and Etsy for custom orders. Where else can people find your jewelry? Do you sell at barn sales as well?
