Peaches and cream corn is our family’s favorite. This corn was picked about three days ago and was so delicious we boiled it and ate it plain. Butter was unnecessary. Dinner last night finished off the last fresh corn this season. Time is passing quickly and we want to enjoy every last drop of summer while we can.
Here in the south we are know for our Southern hospitality. This corn was actually a gift from a neighbor. Garden bounty is shared and nothing makes a better hostess gift than a basket of zucchini or a jar of homemade blueberry preserves. The south has a spirit of generosity.
