Our Autumn Wine Cellar Wedding

As promised, here are the photos from our September wedding, held in the wine cellar of Highland Manor Winery. John and I wanted an intimate setting and the cellar of the oldest winery in Tennessee was a perfect fit for us. We make weekend drives to the winery to buy wine and already knew how cozy their cellar was with walls of vintage bottles, rustic barrels, exposed brick, timber ceiling beams, and heavy wood doors.

True to our nature, we wanted a wedding that was simple and small with a focus on family. Our family helped in every aspect of planning and we incorporated so many local friends. The glassware, tablecloths, and lanterns were part of Highland’s Manor’s cellar décor. The Albertson sign hanging above our buffet table was hand painted by Lindsey’s Letters. I wanted to buy items for our wedding that we could save as heirloom pieces later.

John and I added the small red peony centerpieces in copper vases. A merlot colored peony wreath and some additional garland pieces are not shown. The galvanized three tier tray and all of the red peony arrangements are from Kirkland’s.

The floral garland on the charcuterie table and all of the grapes you see throughout the wine cellar were purchased at Hobby Lobby. They will be used this Christmas as part of our party décor.

My dress is from the local boutique Hello Honey. It is a pale peach shade with silver hand beading. I bought jewelry and a crystal hair piece there as well.  Hello Honey was so wonderful to help me stay within budget.

I bought Invoke perfume by Ambre Blends to wear on my wedding day and I packed it in my honeymoon bag as well.

Our wedding cake was a gluten free red velvet cake with cream cheese icing baked by PDilly’s garnished with concord grapes and fresh rosemary. Blue Rooster Canteen catered our assortment of chicken salads (Napa Valley, Buffalo Blue Cheese, and Carrot Curry.)
