Cookies and Other Gingerbread Favorites

Gingerbread is my favorite holiday scent and taste. I absolutely love warm gingerbread cakes with whipped cream and soft, hot gingerbread cookies. I am as fond of gingerbread as I am chocolate.

On Sunday nights, I like to simmer a special coffee creamer on the stove. Typically a pumpkin spice creamer made with half and half. This idea for gingerbread flavor coffee creamer using ginger and molasses is another favorite.

The family favorite for gingerbread cakes is this recipe by King Arthur Flour. I like to use the white wheat or sprouted wheat for this version.

This recipe below is a vegan recipe and makes the perfect cookies to decorate with white frosting.
